Itinerary

Friday - We depart early morning by modern executive coach to Dover and a lunchtime sailing to Calais. We arrive at our 3* hotel in the greater Paris area early evening. Enjoy dinner in the hotel restaurant or a drink at the bar.

Saturday - Join us after breakfast this morning on our guided visit of this truly romantic city. Our tour takes in all the major sites, including the Arc de Triomphe, The Opera, Place de la Concorde, The Eiffel Tower and many more.

This afternoon is at leisure to explore the city, maybe wander along the banks of the River Seine, shop in the chic Parisian boutiques, stroll along the Champs Elysees or experience the delights the Louvre has to offer.

This evening join us for our optional visit to the district of Montmartre situated some 300 feet above the river and dominated by the famous Sacred Heart Basilica. It is one of the oldest parts of the city, with its tiny narrow cobbled streets, and today it is home to the artists, hence its bohemian atmosphere. Enjoy the views across the Paris skyline and join us for dinner in a local restaurant (payable locally).

Sunday - After breakfast our coach transfers us to the lovely old 'left bank' - amble through the quaint streets of the Latin Quarter, browse the antique shops, take a morning coffee overlooking the Notre Dame Cathedral, plus cruise along the River Seine (additional charge), to further enjoy this historic city.

This afternoon there is the opportunity to explore more of this city at your own leisure, or take advantage of our transfer to the Eiffel Tower - Paris's most famous landmark.

Our optional visit this evening takes in the illuminated sights of the city. Described as the City of Light, enjoy the unrivalled view of the magical atmosphere of Paris from the 56th floor of the Montparnasse Tower. Dinner will be offered in a local restuarant to complete our final evening (payable locally).

Monday - This morning after breakfast, we bid farewell and retrace our steps to Calais for our afternoon sailing to the UK. We return to the local area early evening.
